Turnpike Troubadours
come home to end 2017

TULSA, Okla. – The latter part of
2017 has been a whirlwind for
Turnpike Troubadours. Their
latest studio album, A Long Way
from Your Heart released on
October 20, 2017, and they have
been busy touring the Midwest
promoting.
Their fifth album is critically
acclaimed and soaring on
country music charts. Turnpike
reigns as red dirt music kings,
but this new album has hopes
of sending them into super
stardom. In Oklahoma they are
already super stars in our eyes.
Part of their appeal is them
always making the time to come
celebrate with their first and
arguably biggest fans.
To celebrate their success and
visit their favorite hometown
fans, Turnpike is headlining the
famous Cain’s Ballroom for two
nights: Saturday, Dec. 30, and
Sunday, Dec. 31.
According to Troubadours
bassist RC Edwards, “We grew
up going to the Cain’s when it
hard morphed into a grimy rock
club, before all the renovations.
We always dreamed of playing
there someday. Dreams come
true.
“There is nothing like the sound
of 2,000 of your best friends
stomping the hardwood floor to
‘Long Hot Summer Day’. Glad we
get to call it home,” Edwards said.

Fans can enjoy two full nights
of foot-stomping, beer drinking,
musical fun. Tickets are still
available for both nights, but
Turnpike is known to sell out the
Cain’s, so I recommend getting
your tickets as soon as possible if
