On Saturday 20th June, 2 pupils from the Crest Table Tennis Squad, Heena in Year 9 and Josh in Year 8, competed in the Jack Petchey Table Tennis Competition. This particular competition is special as it is is run by Jack Petchey, who also attends the awards ceremony. Heena did not qualify for the U16’s, but made it into the U19’s playing extremely well and winning a silver medal. Josh made it to the main event, the quarter finals, played his best but sadly lost. However, this has only inspired him to improve and become an even better player. We are incredibly proud of both of them as is Jason, their table tennis coach, who says that you can achieve anything with time, dedication and passion, but above all to have fun.
