About the Editor
2
The first issue ever features art and design, photography and creative writing. This issue is called the Editor’s Edition because the art, design and writing for the first issue gives you an understanding of my background and passion for literature and the arts. The designs, art and writing featured in this edition are my own. In future editions soon to come, the works will be of other artists as well. This journal will promote artists all over the world.
The featured artist of this month is Roland Miller (www.metroimage.com), a Texas based photographer. Roland has taken some of the most breathtaking and striking head-shots for me when I was an actress many moons ago! One of the headshots that landed me countless auditions is featured above. Mr. Miller takes terrific family portraits as well and specializes in glamorous but realistic images that bring out a person’s true personality.
Photographer Roland Miller's work entitled Urban Man is featured below. The photo is so real it exudes a certain texture.
I’ve taken art and design classes both in high school and college, winning contests for illustration. Art is one of my passions. I’ve been to every art museum in New York City at least once, and to the Boston and Philadelphia museums of art. The Smithsonian in D.C. was a second Heaven for me and I can hardly wait to explore AGO in Toronto in the very near future. I hope in forthcoming issues my love of art and literature will be evident in my interviews with other artists as well as my coverage of artistic events. Below is a fascinator I embellished with seashells.
This is one of many fascinators that is created by my company, Jophiel & Co.
