Montgomery Foundation taking grant applications
The Montgomery Foundation is now accepting grant applications from local non-profit entities who have a specific need or project for which they would like to be considered for grant assistance . To be eligible the entity must have a 501 ( C ) ( 3 ) determination by the IRS , be located within Coshocton County or service Coshocton County , and the project must be capital in nature . Grants are not provided for

operational expenses .
The Montgomery Foundation , originally established as a private family foundation , has recently received approval by the IRS to be reorganized as a public charity and support organization of The Coshocton Foundation . This change will facilitate the ability to receive monetary donations and bequests to The Montgomery Foundation endowment and the from Page 61
The final award category is the “ Calm in the Eye of the Storm ” Award . The person that receives this award is someone whose feathers aren ’ t easily ruffled , who remains calm when things get dicey and always has a way of diffusing the chaos that can sometimes happen .
