Mills and Sheriff Crawford expressed to council that their meeting and negotiations in the sheriff contract has been a pleasant experience for both parties , and they have reached a verbal agreement that is expected to be put into writing . The search for a new fire chief is still ongoing at this time . Mills also expressed the need for citizens to “ love thy neighbor ” and to support the jail levy and justice center .
Mills said if residents do not support the levy , the next step is for the government to come and tell Coshocton City officials what to do and how to do it , and it will end up being more costly to residents and the city as a whole .
Mills went on to confirm Trick or Treat for the city of Coshocton will be Saturday , Oct . 30 from 5-6:30 p . m .
