The following area youth will compete for Coshocton County Junior Fair king and queen during a ceremony scheduled for Sunday , Sept . 27 at 4 p . m . in Hunter Arena at the Coshocton County Fairgrounds . The ceremony , however , is not open to the general public . Gage Haines I am Gage Haines , and I am running for the 2020 Coshocton County Fair king . I am a 12-year member of 4-H and the current president of Above and Beyond 4-H club . Through 4-H , I am a four-year member of the junior fair board . I also am a four-year member of the River View FFA chapter , where I am the chapter president .
In high school I am a member of National Honor Society , the class treasurer and a student representative of the Walhonding Valley Farmers . I also am a member of the soccer team and track team . I also am a member of the Coshocton

I have been involved in OMUN for three years ; student council for four years , serving as president for two years ; National Honors Society for two years , where I serve as vice president ; Fellowship of Christian Athletes for four year , where I have served on the leadership team for two years ; Teen Leadership Corps for one year ; and MVL Leadership Summit for two years , where I have been the ambassador for my school .

am undecided as to where . Luke Massie My name is Luke Massie . In high school my activities include soccer for four years , basketball for one year , swimming for three years , baseball for two years , track one year and FFA for two years . I am a member of National Honor Society , Spanish Honor Society , Teen Leadership , OMUN , Math Club and Student Council , where I serve as the vice president , and I was a freshman and sophomore class officer . I also was selected to represent River View at the MVL Leadership Summit .
My community activities include 4-H ; junior fair board , where I serve as president ; and Junior Leaders , and I was a member of the Coshocton County Youth Leadership Class of 2020 .
My awards include all A ’ s with a 4.0 GPA and a 100-hour community service letter , and I was named swimming captain . I also

won the county premier exhibitor for hogs and a clock trophy at the state fair .
I am unsure of what college I will attend after high school but hope to continue my swim career at whichever school I attend . Dilyn Tumblin My name is Dilyn Tumblin . I live in Wills Creek with my parents , Andrew and Kristi Tumblin , and siblings , Drew , Ashlyn and Taryn . I attend River View High School .
I have been involved in 4-H with the Winner and Trailblazers 4-H clubs . I also am a four-year member of FFA and the reporter . I take horses , dairy heifers and a market chicken through 4-H and FFA . I am a member of Tiverton Grange .
In school I have been involved in cross country , track , swimming , choir , Leo Club and Spanish Honor Society . I am a member of the Roscoe United Methodist Church .

The Coshocton Foundation is helping locals earn degrees

The Jones Metal Products Adult Legacy Scholarship has been announced by the Coshocton Foundation . Michael A . Moore of Coshocton was awarded the $ 2,000 scholarship for Coshocton County residents attending COTC . Moore will study criminal justice with the goal of one day following in his
grandfather ’ s footsteps by becoming a sheriff deputy in Coshocton County .
The Jones Metal award was created in 2013 to honor the 90th anniversary of the company . The winner is chosen by COTC admission staff members .
In addition to five adult awards announced earlier , the Coshocton Foundation
is partnering with Central Ohio Technical College in the Coshocton Promise program , guaranteeing qualifying first-degreeseeking Coshocton County residents free tuition through the Clarence and Grace Miller Scholarship Fund . Also , two scholarships in the amount of $ 1,750 each are offered to
students in the master ’ s program at the Coshocton campus of Muskingum University .
On the high school level , the Coshocton Foundation awards more than 100 scholarships annually to graduating seniors of the local high schools .
