Karen Miller , 76 , of West Lafayette , passed away on Thursday , Aug . 26 , 2021 . She was born on Sept . 9 , 1944 , to the late Edward C . Sr . and Morna I . ( Matheson ) Gaumer , in St . Helena , California .
After graduating from the last graduating class of Fresno High School , Karen became a military wife and homemaker , raising her family before she started working in the airline industry and worked for Continental Airlines then United Airlines for over 20 years before retiring .
She was a very talented artist who enjoyed painting and years ago , working in her ceramics shop . She enjoyed fishing , running 5k and 10k races , riding dirt

bikes and side-by-sides with her son . She was full of live and very adventurous . She was loved by many and will truly be missed .
Karen is survived by her four children , Carollee Bullock of Hawaii , Sam ( Christy ) Miller of Newcomerstown , Eric Miller of Hawaii and Stevan Miller of West

Lafayette ; seven grandchildren , Jesse , Chelsea , Kyle , Kelly , Aaron , Dalton and Tayhani ; eight great-grandchildren ; four siblings , Christine Hunter of Millersburg , Luke Gaumer of Fresno , Eddy Gaumer Jr . of New Philadelphia and Les Gaumer of Coshocton ; and many nieces and nephews .
Per Karen ’ s wishes , a cremation will take place with burial in Hawaii at a later date .

Max Leon McKee , 91 , passed away on Saturday , Aug . 28 , 2021 , at his home . He was born on Oct . 20 , 1929 , to the late William and Gertrude ( Shaw ) McKee .
He was a 1948 graduate of Keene High School . On Feb . 3 , 1973 , he married Ellen ( Mellott ) McKee . He retired from Edmont as a supervisor Max was an animal lover and was passionate about horses . He was a well-known horse trainer , helping many people in the surrounding area . He was a member of the National Barrel Horse Association for several years and the Mounted Deputies in Coshocton County .
Along with his wife , he is survived by his children , Troy McKee of Coshocton , Angie ( Jody ) Bolden of Coshocton , Bill ( Wendy ) Hutchinson of Wooster , and Greg Hutchinson of Fresno ; siblings , Reva Olinger and Carol McKee ; 10 grandchildren , 16 greatgrandchildren as well as many family friends , Rick , Cindy and Wes Wallace , Joe , Stephanie and Peyton Shears , Darell , Sally and Rachel Duncan , Beth Schott and Ted and Tina Craft and finally his devoted companion , Dally , who was always by his side .
Preceding Max in death are his son , Robin McKee and siblings , William , Eddie , Jean and Wayne McKee .
Calling hours will be at the Miller Funeral Home on Thursday , Sept . 2 , 2021 , from 4-7 p . m . The funeral Service will be at the funeral home on Friday , Sept . 3 , 2021 , at 11 a . m . with Rev . Bob Fair officiating . A cremation will follow the services .

Herman is survived by his caring children , Gary ( Alice ) Uhlig of Sarasota , FL , Patti A . Uhlig Eckberg of Jamestown , NY , Gael ( Marc Romano ) Uhlig of Ft . Lauderdale , FL , Roger ( Kelly ) Uhlig of Kannapolis , NC and Pastor Rodney ( Joann ) Uhlig of Coshocton ; nine loving grandchildren Danielle and Adam Eckberg , Jordan ( Leanne ) Anderson , Jacob Uhlig , Karissa and Kathryn Uhlig and Shawn , Amanda and Jody ; several great grandchildren ; siblings , Betty Bednar , Olga Faulker and Linda Matie ; as well as , several nieces and nephews .
Preceding Herman in death are his siblings , Carl Uhling , Art Uhlig and Eileen Anderson .
