Ridgewood honors its new Students of the Month
Ridgewood High School recently recognized its Student of the Month recipients .
Senior Brynn Waters is being recognized for her willingness to face challenges with positivity , diligence and a desire to learn . She is the daughter of Jennifer and Greg Waters . At school she is involved in Honor Society , FFA and volleyball . She also works on her family ’ s farm and at Glam Tan & Beauty . She loves that everyone at Ridgewood has school spirit . Her advice to other students is to find one thing you love doing and stick to it , whether it is sports , FFA or performing arts . She would like to thank her parents for always supporting her .
Waters plans to major in agricultural economics and then come back to work at her family ’ s farm .
Junior Charlotte Seibert
Brynn Waters Charlotte Seibert Matthew Shaw Steven Beckett Ella Marlatt
is being recognized for her initiative in offering to help others , as well as her kindness and her dedication . She is the daughter of Michelle Wright and Justin Seibert . She is involved in basketball , drama , choir , color guard , concert band , chorale , Common Cents , the musical and dance . She loves the Ridgewood community and is looking forward to learning new information from college classes this year .
Seibert is planning to major in nursing and psychology to become a psychiatric nurse practitioner .
Matthew Shaw is the 10th-grade Student of the Month . He is being recognized for his engagement in class activities and his responsibility in completing assignments . He is involved in FFA at school . He is looking forward to participating in mechanical principles this year . He loves the community of Ridgewood . His advice to other students is to keep your grades up
and don ’ t slack off . He would like to thank all his teachers because they helped him come this far .
Shaw plans on being a mechanical engineer and working with his father .
The Student of the Month for ninth grade is Steven Beckett . He is being recognized for demonstrating kindness toward his peers , as well as his hard work and care in completing his assignments . He is the son of Jessica and Jason Beckett . He is involved in
FFA and is looking forward to working with engines in ag class this year .
Beckett is planning to go to a career center . His advice for other students is to do your work when it needs to be done .
Ella Marlatt is the Student of the Month for eighth grade . She is being recognized for her positive , respectful attitude , as well as her focus on classroom tasks . She is the daughter of Whitney and Chad Marlatt . She plays volleyball , and
this year she is looking forward to learning more . She loves that at Ridgewood you always have the opportunity to get better as a person , as a student , as a player on a sports team and more .
One piece of advice Marlatt would give to other students is to never give up on yourself and to always try your best . She would like to thank her parents for always coming to all her games and for always supporting her .
