Leoma Jenkins , 74 , of Coshocton passed away on Thursday , October 17 , 2024 , at her home . She was born on August 18 , 1950 , in Coshocton to the late , David Newell and Dorothy ( Madison ) Hughes . On January 12 , 1970 , she married Terry Jenkins , who survives . From that time on , her and Terry were close partners , working side by side on anything from house projects , car projects or splitting wood . She was a homemaker , raising her children and teaching the same things to her children , she did alongside of Terry . She loved to be outside and loved working on her flowers or garden .

She is preceded in death by her siblings , Brenda , Bonnie , Mary , Harold , Pam and Robert .
Per her wishes , a cremation will take place and burial of her ashes at South Lawn Cemetery will take place at a later date .

James “ Jim ” E . Slaughter , 78 , passed away Tuesday , October 15 , 2024 , at home , surrounded by family , following a long battle with cancer . He was born on September 23 , 1946 , in Coshocton , Ohio to the late Richard and Hazel Marie ( Walters ) Slaughter . Truck driving was the center of his life , he drove for over 50 years , driving up to his last days . He loved to spend time with his grandchildren taking them to the fair and involving them in many other activities . He loved to tinker around and kept busy around the house . He was a handyman and helpful when family needed something fixed .
