Mary Alice ( Hawkins ) McCombs , 86 , passed away Saturday , October 12 , 2024 , at the Knox Community Hospital .
Mary was born on February 6 , 1938 , to Fred and Sadie ( Haines ) Hawkins . Mary enjoyed life to the fullest . She did not know a stranger and talked to everyone she met . She also truly enjoyed going to the casino with her brother Junior and cousin Gladys .
She is survived by her sons , Craig ( Tracy ) McCombs , Eric ( Carol ) McCombs , Jeff McCombs , and Tracy ( Betsy ) Mc- Combs ; grandchildren , Blair , April , Katelyn , Cody , Zach , and Cassie , great
Mary Lou ( Cline ) Ridenour passed away peacefully on early October 15 , 2024 , at Altercare in Coshocton .
Born November 26 , 1930 , in Coshocton , she was a daughter of Dana and Thelma ( Lorenz ) Cline . She was also a graduate of Coshocton

On May 17 , 1953 , she married Robert A . Ridenour , who preceded her in death July 11 , 2018 .
Mary Lou lived most of her life in Coshocton where she was active in tennis , bridge clubs , Greek dancing , and a variety of activities at Grace United
Cooper , and Deb ( Jim ) Samples ; brother , Rick ( Linda ) Hawkins ; and numerous nieces , nephews , and cousins .
She was preceded in death by her husbands , Earl Harold McCombs and Frank Priebe ; sister , Sandra ; brothers , Gary Hawkins and Fred Hawkins , Jr .; and two very loved and cherished grandchildren , Bresa Fawn and Cory Earl McCombs .
At Mary ’ s request , the family will observe a celebration of her life at a later date . The Fischer Funeral Home is handling arrangements . A memorial page is available at fischerfuneralhome . com .

Curtis “ Fathead “ Alan Alford . 71 of Coshocton , passed away on Tuesday October 15 , 2024 , at Genesis Hospital after a long , fought illness . He was born on January 1 , 1953 , in Coshocton to the late Chalmus L . H . Alford and Kathryn ( Wilson ) Alford , who survives . He spent most of his working career driving semi-trucks for his father and later in life had a variety of jobs . He was very outgoing with a curmudgeon like personality and enjoyed his daily spot in his later years at the Eagles . He was very passionate about motorcycles and the people and the community that came with it . He also

BF-209874 he is survived by his siblings , Harlene ( Paul ) Wolfe of Coshocton , Lawrence Alford of Coshocton , Marie ( Kenneth ) Alexander of Howard and Jeannine Mayberry of Coshocton as well as nieces , nephews , cousins and many good friends .
As per his wishes , a cremation will take place with the Miller-Kaiser Cremation Services . Calling hours were held at The Miller Funeral Home on Wednesday , October 23 , 2024 from 5pm to 6pm . A memorial service was held at the funeral home at 6pm . Burial will be in South Lawn Cemetery at a later date .

Other survivors include three sisters : Kathy ( Wes ) Cohen of Durham , NC ; Paulette ( Tom ) Mulligan of Hendersonville , NC ; and Linda Blodgett of Ashland , Ohio . Two sisters preceded her in death .
The family wishes to thank the staff at Windsorwood Place of Coshocton for the care Mary Lou received the past several years .
Friends may call from 9-11:00 AM on November 2 , 2024 , in the Presbyterian Church sanctuary at 142 North Walnut Street , Coshocton . Service will follow at 11:00 AM , with burial at Fairfield Cemetery in West Lafayette after the service . In lieu of flowers , the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Mary Lou ’ s name to Grace United Methodist Church , P . O . Box 1548 , Coshocton , OH 43812 . Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home is serving the family .
