CCS honors beloved teacher with Pink Out game

Together we fight ! That is the Coshocton Christian Schools ( CCS ) stance on cancer .
Cindy Kraft , a beloved third grade teacher , was recently diagnosed with breast cancer . Kraft has been a school teacher for more than 33 years and has dedicated the last 15 years of teaching to CCS . “ I love working with children and I ’ m always wanting to serve the Lord and glorify Him in all my works ,” she said .
On Oct . 10 CCS hosted a Pink Out event during its volleyball games against East Richland . Both schools took part in honoring those who have beat cancer , currently fighting cancer or for those who have since lost their battle to cancer .

Cassandra Webster , fourth grade teacher and volleyball coach , at CCS gave the dedication . Exodus 14:14 “ The Lord will fight for you ; you need only to be still .” As she read off the names of cancer victims , the players handed out carnations to the loved ones in the crowd or placed the carnation in a glass vase that was placed in the middle of the court for those who have passed .
Each school made posters to honor their loved ones that have been affected by cancer . They were displayed all around the gymnasium to show
their support that no one fights alone .
Kraft said she has been overwhelmed with the kindness and generosity of the CCS community . She

said it ’ s such a privilege to have prayer warriors , gifts , cards , and uplifting thoughts during her difficult life journey .
Ellen Anderson , preschool teacher and tutor , said Kraft is a dedicated teacher to her students even though her trying times . Kraft shows up every day ready to teach .
