Chili Crossroads staff and congregation are excited their new location will provide one home for all the church ’ s programs .

The church was located on County Road 10 in Chili but outgrew the space as it added educational and recovery programs .

Once their building sold , they were able to break ground at their new property located on County Road 621 near J & R Door in Coshocton . Sunday services will be held at the big white tent there until Oct . 20 .

The congregation will then temporarily move to the lower level of the visitors center at Roscoe Village . The plan is to have the building done by late August in time for the start of the next school year .

what happens .”

The building will be a third larger than their previous one . It will have room for the church , tutoring , school , childcare and recovery program , which are currently held at different locations .

“ Everything will be under one roof , which will be wonderful ,” Dearyan said .

He also said they are in a more convenient location , instead of being miles outside of town .

“ This is the best spot in the county ,” Dearyan said . “ Twelve-thousand cars go by here a day . We want to be accessible to people . It ’ s flat here too , so people won ’ t have hilly roads and icy ones in the winter that might make them think twice about coming .”

Sunday school is held at 9:30 a . m ., and church starts at 10:30 a . m . The educational programs will remain at Kids America until the new building is

ready . The Simple Steps Recovery program is at 7 p . m . on Fridays at the white tent through Oct . 18 and then at Roscoe after that . Meetings are free and open to the public . Free pizza and childcare are provided .

“ Everyone is welcome to the recovery program ,” Dearyan said . “ You don ’ t have to have an addiction to come . There is no stigma . We just want to help people connect with God and eliminate any barriers in their way .”

To help with the building process , the congregation is hosting a meat fest on Saturday , Oct . 19 in the big white tent at 23247 County Road 621 in Coshocton . Dine-in or carryout will be available from 1-3 p . m . Get alligator bites , turtle soup , barbecued venison meatballs , pulled pork , baked beans , Amish rolls , Tina ’ s coleslaw and cake .
