Alan Kukla passed away peacefully in Rock Hill , SC on October 21 , 2022 . He was 76 years old .
Alan was born on November 16 , 1945 , in Cleveland , Ohio , and was the son of Frank and Mildred Kukla . He has a younger brother , Robert Kukla . He attended college at Utah State University where he earned his Master ’ s degree in Chemistry . Afterwards , he lived and worked in Soda Springs , Idaho for several years and then moved to Chugiak , Alaska in 1979 . Alan and his wife Sharen lived in Alaska for 31 years along with their daughter , Cydni Crain and two grandchildren , Ashton Crain , and Hayden Crain .
While in Alaska , Alan worked in the oil fields of Prudhoe Bay , Alaska where he was the supervisor of the chemistry laboratory . He retired from BP-British Petroleum and then took a job with the State of Alaska and worked for the Department of Environmental Conservation-Division of Air and Water Quality office in Anchorage , Alaska for several years .

that Alaska had to offer ! Alan and Sharen built their own home there and made it a special place for their family and friends to often gather and visit . Alan was an avid fisherman and he enjoyed moose and caribou hunting . He was also a woodworker and he spent countless days working in his shop and building projects for their homestead , grandchildren , neighbors , and friends . He was always willing to lend a hand to someone in need and was constantly helping others with their projects as well .
In 2010 Alan and Sharen both retired and moved to Coshocton , Ohio where they built a home and
managed their 150-acre farm . They enjoyed the retired life and continued to build strong relationships within their community and church while in Coshocton . They attended Pleasant Hill Church and enjoyed the friendships and fellowship with the congregation there .
Surviving him are his daughter , Cydni Crain and her husband Tom Crain , his brother Robert Kukla , his two grandchildren Ashton Crain and Hayden Crain , and his three great grandchildren . He was a widower of Sharen Kukla who preceded him in death in 2018 . He was also preceded in death by his first wife , Clella ( Burgoyne ) in 1978 while residing in Soda Spring , Idaho .
At the wishes of Alan Kukla , there will not be a formal service , rather , the immediate family will be having a private gathering to honor his life while he was with us . George Schultz “ Poppi ”, age 75 of Palmetto , Florida passed away on Wednesday , November 16 , 2022 at his home . He was born on December 11 , 1946 in Detroit , Michigan to the late George and Esther ( Mainwood ) Schultz . After high school , he joined the United States Airforce having served from 1967-1971 . On December 23 , 1972 , he married Betty Jo Schultz , who survives . He furthered his education at Nova University where he obtained his MBA and went to work as an Executive for several companies to include GTE , HP and the Manatee County Government .
George was kind and slow to anger and a loving father . With George , smiles came easy and love was a way of life . Those fortunate enough to spend time with him quickly saw his dedication to faith , family and community . He was seen as a father figure by many , whether they were friends or family . Paul A . Dawson
Paul A . Dawson , 82 , of Coshocton passed away Tuesday , November 15 , 2022 at Ohio State James Cancer Center in Columbus . He was born in Warsaw , Ohio on May 18 , 1940 to the late Wesley and Melva ( Haxton ) Dawson .
Paul graduated from Coshocton High School in 1958 and married Rose Marie Dodd on February 14 , 1959 . He worked for Pretty Products for 41 years before retiring . He enjoyed bowling , basketball , softball , and loved the Ohio State Buckeyes , Cleveland Browns , and the Cleveland Indians .
Along with his wife he is survived by his children Kerri Dawson and Donald ( Karla ) Dawson ; grandchildren Karlee Dawson , Tommy Dawson , Chelsy Richardson , and Elizabeth Pitts ; and three great grandchildren .
He is preceded in death by his brothers Robert and John Dawson ; sister Mary Ellen Guthrie ; and grandson Victor Richardson IV .

Calling hours were at the Miller Funeral Home on Tuesday , November 22 , 2022 from 11am to 1pm . The funeral service will began at 1pm with Pastor Paul Schwab officiating . The Coshocton County Veterans Honor Guard will begin the service with military honors . A cremation will take place after the services with the Miller-Kaser Cremation Services .
