May 4 injury accident reported behind Walmart on 621

On May 4 at approximately 4:20 p. m., the Coshocton County Sheriff’ s Office received a 911 call in reference to an injury accident on
OH-621, behind 23605 Airport Road in Tuscarawas Township.
Upon arrival of deputies, it was determined Joe Wright, 56, of
Coshocton was traveling north on OH-621 when he made a left turn and struck Dustin Rusnak, 39, of Coshocton, who had been traveling south
on OH-621.
Both Wright and Rusnak were transported to Genesis Coshocton Medical Center by Coshocton County EMS for nonlifethreatening
injuries. Wright was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield to through traffic.
Assisting at the scene
were Coshocton County EMS, Coshocton City Fire Department, Three Rivers Fire Department, Prince’ s Wrecker Service and REACT.

On May 4 at approximately 3:17 p. m., the Coshocton County Sheriff’ s Office received a 911 call in reference to an injury accident on OH-93, near Township Road 170 in White Eyes Township.
Upon arrival of deputies, it was determined Jeremy Brehm, 50, of Keene Township was traveling south on OH-93 when he lost control of his vehicle and ran off the right edge of the roadway. Brehm ran into the adjoining ditch, struck the embankment of a driveway and came to a rest on the opposite side of the driveway.
Brehm was transported to the MedFlight base by Coshocton County EMS, from which MedFlight transported him to Genesis Hospital in Zanesville for life-threatening injuries.
Assisting at the scene were Coshocton County EMS, Med- Flight, West Lafayette Fire Department and Prince’ s Wrecker Service.

Leadership Coshocton County hosted a luncheon on April 17 for prospective candidates of the next class. The event was sponsored by and held at Wiley Companies.
