After 16 years in its previous Mt . Vernon location , Dean ’ s Jewelry is officially moving into a new storefront . right across the street from the previous location , the move took some work , but the big move was a necessity for the business .

“ Year after year we ’ ve seen more customers in our stores ,” Michelle Turner said . “ As our clientele expands , we obviously want to have more space for them , but we also want to offer them more jewelry . The

new space will really let us expand our inventory . There will be more room to shop and more jewelry to shop for .”

Whether you ’ ve been a Dean ’ s customer for years or you ’ ve never visited the store , the Turner siblings invite you to the grand opening weekend celebration .

“ We feel so lucky to be a part of this community ,”

Michelle Turner said . “ Our customers are more than just customers ; they ’ re our neighbors and our friends . They ’ re also the reason we ’ ve been able to keep our small business running through three generations of family ownership . So we knew that when we opened this store , we wanted to invite everyone along to celebrate .”

All weekend long the store will offer savings , treats and a drawing for a pair of lab-grown diamond-stud earrings . The Turner siblings said visitors will be greeted by a bigger store , a greater variety and the same friendly staff .

Festivities will take place from Thursday , May 16 from 10 a . m . to 6 p . m . until Saturday , May 18 from 10 a . m . to 4 p . m . in the new store location at 1573 Coshocton Ave . in Mt . Vernon .
