The Coshocton County Board of DD held its prom on May 10 at Hopewell School . SG 55 Designs provided a large welcome sign for prom-goers to use as a photo opportunity as they entered the school . The theme for the evening was “ Around the World .” Later in the evening , Brandon and Erin were chosen as king and queen , and Cyrys and Sarabeth were runners-up .
Enjoy Coffee with a Doc on May 21
Coshocton Public Health District will present Coffee with a Doc at the Coshocton County Community Room on Tuesday , May 21 from 5-6 p . m ., featuring Dr . Robert Gwinn as guest speaker .
Coffee with a Doc will feature a different guest speaker at each month ’ s event . Physicians from Coshocton Regional Medical Center , Genesis Healthcare of Coshocton , private practices and even retired physicians who still reside in the county have all been invited . A different health topic will be presented each month , providing an environment for open discussion and questions .
Parking is available in front of the health district ’ s main entrance . This event is free . The health district will provide free coffee and treats .
“ We saw a need to provide ongoing health education to the adult and senior populations of Coshocton County ,” said Olivia Elson , health educator . “ I am very excited to be the one organizing this event . I hope it encourages people to prioritize their health and to take advantage of this resourceful opportunity for free and reliable health education .”
It is the mission at Coshocton Public Health to ensure equitable access to care , prevent diseases , promote healthy behaviors , and protect the well-being and health environment for all community members . By offering this event each month , staff members are gaining insight to what is truly needed by the adult population in
Coshocton County .
