Mayse will speak at the next Coffee with a Doc on May 20
The Coshocton Public Health District will host the next Coffee with a Doc event on Tuesday, May 20 at 11 a. m., featuring Sheila Mayse, LSW.
The event topic for May is The Wonder Years: Mental Health Through the Various Stages of Life. The event will take place at the Coshocton Senior Center, 201 Browns Lane, Coshocton. Parking is available in front of the building. This event is free with no registration required. Free coffee and treats will be available to those attending.
Mayse has a Master of Social Work from West Virginia University and is a licensed independent social worker with a supervision endorsement. She has more than 30 years of
experience providing social work services to a variety of populations. As the owner of MSW Solutions, she provides outpatient mental health services to adults, teens and children through individual, couples, family and group therapy. She has a specialization in treating symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder through Cognitive Processing Therapy.
Additionally, Mayse conducts psychological evaluations, parenting assessments, mediation and family enrichment services including supervised parenting time, and reunification services. She also has served as a guardian ad litem for the Coshocton County Juvenile Court for more than 12 years.
The mission of the Coshocton Public Health District is to ensure equitable access to care, prevent diseases, promote healthy behaviors, and protect the well-being and health environment for all community members. By offering this event each month, staff members gain insight to what is needed by the adult population in Coshocton County.

To celebrate National Stop the Bleed Day, Genesis HealthCare System will host free trainings with a free tourniquet on Thursday, May 22 from 9-10:30 a. m. in Genesis Hospital meeting room B and 6-7:30 p. m. in Genesis Hospital meeting rooms B and C.
