Everyone in the community has a responsibility to help control the stray and unwanted cat and dog population . For some families the cost of spaying or neutering their pet is too high , and they simply can ’ t afford to do the right thing . The Coshocton County Animal Shelter and HATA announced a new low-cost provider for Coshocton and surrounding counties . AlterClinic visited the shelter in February and has assisted 16 animals so far with spay and neuter services . The dates for upcoming clinics are Wednesday , April 2 ; Wednesday , June 4 ; Wednesday , Aug . 13 ; and Wednesday , Oct . 8 .
These are transportation clinics . That means AlterClinic will meet families at the Coshocton County Animal Shelter to pick up the animals , take them back to their clinic for surgery and return the animals later that same day .
You must make an appointment for the transportation
