The Pregnancy Center of Coshocton brought pastors and church representatives together on Feb . 27 to chat about shared goals and their mission .

The annual brunch was held at the LeRetilley Event Center . Board members and coordinators were introduced , a video presentation was shared about the center , and an update was given on its move to a new location .

Becky Armstrong , who started as the new executive director on Nov . 1 , appreciates the support she has received .

“ I ’ m very excited to say we recently expanded our board ,” she said .

The Pregnancy Center of Coshocton ’ s vision is “ to see all children cherished from conception and welcomed into families that thrive .” The mission statement is “ to protect the unborn , to promote life and family according to God ’ s design , and to provide needed resources and support .”

Gosnell , who was adopted , shared with attendees why she became involved with the Pregnancy Center of Coshocton .

“ I was born to an unwed mother in 1966 and am thankful that another mother decided to choose me ,” Gosnell said . “ I can ’ t imagine not standing here before you . I want to help women who feel alone , afraid and confused and help pregnant women choose life . I want every mother to have the opportunity that both of mine did — to choose life and to get to be a mother .”

In 2024 the Pregnancy Center of Coshocton ’ s statistics were 200 total client visits , 21 new clients , 152 included prayer , five gospel presentations , nine new cribs , 12 new mattresses , 11 layettes ( each with a $ 50 value ) and 239 packs of diapers . Lay counseling services are provided , and pregnancy , parenting and life skill classes are offered , which help clients earn the opportunity to select items from the center ’ s boutique . The center ’ s current client demographic is late-20s to mid-30s , and many are married couples .
