Barbara J . Madison , 80 , of Coshocton passed away at Altercare of Coshocton on Wednesday , February 26 , 2025 .
Barbara was born in Otsego , Ohio on June 3 , 1944 , to the late John and Margaret ( Gannon ) Collins .
She worked at numerous locations around Coshocton as a Sales Clerk before retiring from Lowes in Mt . Vernon . She loved spending time with her family , her feline companions and cheering on the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Rams .
Barbara is survived by her children Misty S . Madison and Mark ( Debbie ) Madison both of Coshocton ; sisters

Blood drive scheduled
On Thursday , March 13 , a blood drive will be held at the West Lafayette United Methodist Church , 120 W . Union Ave ., West Lafayette , from 10 a . m . to 3 p . m . Enter at the Family Christian Life Center entrance .

Mabel ( Rex ) Moore of Sandusky and Rosemary Sagle of Coshocton ; granddaughter Heather Madison ; sister-in-law Sue ( Bob ) Troendly of Colorado ; numerous nieces and nephews .
Along with her parents , she was preceded in death by her husband Jack Madison ; grandson Mark Madison Jr .; several siblings and other family members .
Friends were able to call at The Miller Funeral Home , 639 Main St ., Coshocton on Wednesday March 5 , 2025 , from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM where funeral services for Barbara will begin at 5:00 PM , Mark Granger officiated . Cremation followed , the funeral services and burial of her cremated remains will take place at a later date in South Lawn Cemetery .

County BDD info event planned
In honor of Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month , ASK Autism and the Coshocton County Board of Developmental Disabilities will hold an informational event on Tuesday , March 11 at 6 p . m . at the Coshocton County Career Center .
The CCBDD provides services to those with disabilities from birth through death . Many people in the community are not aware of all the services it provides , and this event will share information about each service .
Information will be shared about early intervention , Help Me Grow , school-age services , service and support administrators , community employment , Special Olympics , advocacy , and waivers . Presenters include Steve Oster , Andrew Taylor , Charity Simmerman , Heather Hosfelt-Grogro , Shannon Shontz , Toby Collins and Debbie Christmas .
