Rec teams continue their seasons
Submitted After battling it out on the field , River View Recs two 10U softball teams posed together for a group picture . The young ladies had different uniforms on during this game but will hopefully all wear black and gold someday . Pictures and results can be emailed to jsellers @ alonovus . com .
Ladies report golf scores
On Tuesday , May 28 , eight members of the Hickory Flats Ladies League played the back nine .
Play of the day was low gross minus mystery hole No . 15 . The A-flight winner was Sherry Kirkpatrick , and the B-flight winner was Kathy Hendricks .
Low scores were Kirkpatrick with 39 , Connie Lahna with 48 and Linda Miller with 49 .

Submitted McKee ’ s Mancave opened tournament action with an 8-3 win . The boys were great at the plate and on the bases , but the majority of the runs came from three home runs . Logan West got his first home run of the season with a shot to right field , and Zeb Griffith and Cam Shrimplin also got in on the home run action .
Rice wins A-flight at River Greens
The River Greens Ladies League played May 30 with 12 members present .
Play of the day was substitute three worst holes for par . The A-flight winner was Mardella Rice , and the B-flight
Fielden gets the big bass
Three Rivers Bassmasters held its third club tournament for 2024 at Salt Fork Reservoir on May 25 .
Tournament results were John Eckelberry , first place , 8.10 pounds ; John
Fielden , second place , 7.01 pounds ; Tom Knepper , third place , 5.54 pounds ; and Fielden , big bass , 3.16 pounds .
Three Rivers Bassmasters is a local bass-fishing
winner was Sue Patterson .
Scores below 50 were Rhonda Barlan with 43 , Rice with 44 , Patterson with 45 , Deb Bucklew with 46 , Becky Pittis with 47 , and Connie Lahna and Bonnie Ramshaw with 48 .
