Bakersville kicks off market season
The Bakersville Market has returned for the 2025 season, bringing fresh goods, local vendors and family fun to the Bakersville Community Park. Held the first Friday of each month from June through October, the market runs from 6-9 p. m.
Each month visitors can explore a variety of vendors offering eggs, produce, meats, honey, handmade crafts and more. Several markets also will feature a by-donation food stand, hosted by local clubs and organizations as a fundraising opportunity. A rotating selection of food trucks will serve options throughout the season.
As the market continues to grow, the committee also is raising funds for future improvements including signage, children’ s activities and nonprofit registration through

a gun raffle fundraiser. Details will be available at the market and shared via social media.
Special highlights include a Fourth of July community picnic during the July market and a fall festival in October to wrap up the season.
The Bakersville Market includes children’ s activities and live music from local musicians.
Due to limited cell service at the park, most vendors are unable to accept card payments. Plan to bring cash.

SnyderSTRONG Sip and Savor is June 14
The second SnyderSTRONG Sip and Savor will be held Saturday, June 14 from 4-7 p. m. at the Coshocton KOA.
This event is a fundraiser to raise money for the SnyderSTRONG Scholarship, which is given to two River View High School seniors going into the medical field.
Ticket holders will be able to try 10 samples of wine or beer from five different Ohio wineries and breweries. Attendees also can get wood-fired pizza from Uncle Bill’ s Pizza and listen to music from Chris Gant and friends.
