Kelly Kendall, manager of administration and office services with Frontier Power and a balloon festival committee member, shared this statement about this week’ s hot air balloon festival:
“ The Frontier Power Company is so pleased to be the major sponsor of the Coshocton Hot Air Balloon Festival for the 18th consecutive year. Also, Frontier Propane continues to provide the fuel for the balloons to take flight. But they couldn’ t do it alone. We have a collection of the greatest sponsors ever. They sponsor the balloons, fireworks, entertainment, COSI and lots more fun things. And thanks to everyone’ s sponsorship, we can keep the festival a free event— free admission to see the beautiful balloons, free parking, free entertainment, and the finale of the weekend, free fireworks.”

The night glow is a highlight of the hot air balloon festival.
The festival is put together by a group of 10 individuals who volunteer their time to be on the balloon festival committee.
“ As soon as this year’ s festival is over, we’ ll meet to discuss the event and start making plans for next year,” Kendall said.“ We
meet year round, sometimes a couple of times a month to get things organized. Each member has a specific aspect of the festival they are responsible for, but in the end we all help each other with whatever is needed. It’ s a wonderful group of people who really
