Charles E . Duhamell , 78 , of Coshocton , passed away on Friday , June 10 , 2022 , at his home .
He was born on Dec . 31 , 1943 in Coshocton , Ohio to the late Ernie and Nettie ( Shaw ) Duhamell . He was a graduate of Coshocton High School . On April 4 , 1964 , he married Beatrice “ Elaine ” ( Denney ) Duhamell , who survives . He worked as a coal miner with Peabody Coal Company of Coshocton . He loved to collect sports cards and owned and operated Charlie ’ s Card Shop in Coshocton . He enjoyed sponsoring softball teams and coaching his children . He has always had a deep love for fishing , asking to go fishing until his very last days . Charles was a born again Christian , and it was very important that his family was saved . He would also drive a church bus and often sang at church . As his children grew older , he loved spending time with and spoiling his grandchildren and great-grandchildren . He will be missed .
Along with his wife , Elaine Duhamell , Charles is survived by his children , Kim Minton , Brett ( Angela ) Duhamell and Bill ( Renee ) Duhamell , all of Coshocton ; grandchildren , Josh , Kelsi and Cassidy Duhamell , Justin ( Kelsey ) Duhamell and Dejay ( Clay ) Wilson ; great-grandchildren , Cash , Adley , and Colt Duhamell and Lexi Wilson ; as well as his niece , Julie Sells .
Charles is preceded in death by his sister , Carol Deffenbaugh and nephew , Larry Deffenbaugh .
Per his wishes a cremation took place and a memorial service was held at The Miller Funeral Home on Tuesday , June 21 at 5 p . m . with Ric Bonice officiating .

Mary Martha Babcock , 84 , of Coshocton passed away Sunday , June 19 , 2022 , at the Coshocton Regional Medical Center . She was born in Guernsey County , Ohio on Oct . 9 , 1937 , to the late Leland and Glenna ( Gibson ) Watson .
Martha Graduated from New Concord High School in 1955 and was employed by the Coshocton County Recorders office for 20 years before retiring . She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church . She enjoyed being outside , working , and spending time with her family . Martha is survived by

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband , Paul Babcock , who she married Jan . 4 , 1958 ; and siblings , Lena Claypool , Sara Fox , Carolyn Green , Glenn , Roy , Kenneth , Clyde , Dean , and Richard Watson .

Shortly after graduation , he married his high school sweetheart , Gloria Wolf . He graduated from Bethany College in West Virginia in 1959 with distinction . He was elected president of Kalon , the honor society of the college .
Bob joined Edmont as a sales trainee in 1960 .
Following several transfers and promotions , he retired from Edmont in 1992 as vice president of sales . He did consulting work in the D . C . area for five years . They built a home in Ocean City , MD in 1989 while maintaining their Coshocton home and condo in D . C . For the last two years , they have lived with their daughter and son-in-law due to health issues because of Parkinsons .
Along with his wife Gloria , Bob leaves three children , Patricia ( Keith ) Wilson of Coshocton , Glenn ( Linda ) Head of Coshocton and Gregory ( Bonnie ) Head of Akron ; 10 grandchildren ; 12 greatgrandchildren ; a brother , Richard Head of Dundalk , MD and a sister , Carole Fogle of Catonsville , MD .
The family will receive visitors at Prairie Chapel United Methodist Church
Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home , 639 Main St ., Coshocton , Ohio 43812 on Thursday , June 23 , 2022 , from 5-7 p . m . and one hour prior to the funeral service . Funeral services for Martha will be Friday at 11 a . m . with Pastor Sam Brown and Larry Fox officiating . Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens .
