The Coshocton Foundation announced its 2022 scholarships for adult students .

Executive Director Bob Pell said the Coshocton Foundation awards more than 100 scholarships each year , most of which are designated for graduating high school seniors . In recent years more adults are returning to college , and many have expressed a need for financial help .

The foundation partners with COTC and the Coshocton Promise program through the Grace and Clarence Miller Scholarship Fund . Once accepted to COTC , no

additional application is required , but the FAFSA must be completed and income and residency guidelines apply .

In addition , since 2016 the $ 2,000 one-time Jones Metal Products Company Adult Scholarship also is directed to a student attending COTC . Students should use the Jones Metal guidelines and application found on the CF website and apply directly to COTC .

In addition , the following are offered to students age 21 and older regardless of school attended :

Saturday , June 25 will be a busy day in Downtown Coshocton . Our Town Coshocton and the Coshocton Art Guild will be holding the first Off the Walk : Art and Artisan Pop- Up Market during the day and a concert that evening .

The art market will be from 9 a . m . to 5 p . m . with artists set up on Fourth Street between Main and Chestnut . According to the Our Town Coshocton website , the first event is un-juried . There will be only handcrafted items , locally made edible items and artist / artisan showcases .

Jack Hunt , president of the art guild , said that around 15 artists signed up to be part of the market as of June 18 . He said there will be

— Kenneth Berry Memorial Adult Scholarship : $ 1,000 renewable offered in 2022 . The recipient will be eligible to renew for a second year .

Double Vision , the Foreigner Experience , will begin at 6:30 that evening . The concert is free and everyone is encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs . The concert is presented in partnership with the City of Coshocton – City Hall and sponsored by the Bechtol Fund of the Coshocton Foundation . The stage will be in front of the Ark Park and DORA will be available at local restaurants .
