6th Graders Cap Their Time at RVIS with Pittsburgh Trip and 5th to Planetarium
RVIS 6th Graders went to Pittsburgh for their big end of year trip. Students started their day at Fort Pitt with educational activities including loading a cannon, visiting the Stone Fort, and touring the exhibits in the Fort Pitt Museum. From there, they headed to the Duquesne Incline for a trip up Mount Washington and a visit to the museum under the incline. The students then stopped by Fun Slides for some entertainment at the arcade and the carpet skate park. On their way home, they enjoyed a delicious dinner at Mehlman’ s Cafeteria in St. Clairsville. The students made some great memories and enjoyed the day of fun to cap off their year as 6th graders!
The 5th graders and MH students enjoyed trips to the Planetarium at CHS on separate days! The students enjoyed the amenities of the planetarium and viewed a solar system presentation. The 5th graders also got to go to Clary Gardens and Lake Park while the MH students went to Warsaw’ s playground at River View Park for a more accessible playground experience on the new playground!
