Of Old, Of New W and V LLC at 422 Main St. in Coshocton officially opened its doors to the public with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 9 in the former Sue’ s Hallmark store.
Coshocton Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Amy Crown said,“ Congratulations and welcome to Main Street. We are so happy to have you, with your 10-plus vendors and seeing the Pop in and Paint Studio continued. It’ s a real pleasure to be here. We had Luz and Kevin Caninni stop at the chamber office over a year ago looking for a home here in Coshocton. She had an online market, and we are super-excited that she bought the Pop in and Paint Studio and is keeping it here on Main Street.”
Mayor Mark Mills said,“ I wish you many years of happiness and success. I love that you are recycling and upcycling another business that was here. We’ re glad you’ re here, and we want to thank you for

being part of the downtown. It’ s a very unique shop, and I just want to invite everyone in to check it out. Thank you for being part of the downtown.”
Tiffany Swigert from the Port Authority said,“ Just in conversation we
got to know your heart and your passion behind this. We are really thankful that you were able to see this through and the incredible work you have done in such a short amount of time. Congratulations and welcome to downtown.
We’ re super-excited to have you, and we are superexcited to have something in this beautiful, renovated building.”
Luz Caninni praised the Lord for helping this project come together.“ About a year ago, we met Kevin
and Jill Sheridan from Rust Decor. We didn’ t have any plans to do this, but as we got to know them better, we found out they were planning to move their business to Newark, and we decided to buy their ceramics studio.”
The Caninnis with their 7-year-old son Kai plan to offer artists workshops and to expand their space. They would like to be able to support the arts by showcasing individual artwork for a month and support music and poetry for a month.
“ We can eventually create workshops. Hopefully, we can have classes and offer party packages or special event parties,” Luz Caninni said.
The business also has inside live plants, a coffee station, soft drinks, prepackaged snacks and art supplies for anyone wanting to draw or paint while they are there. They will have outside tables to use when the weather is nice.
Missy Davis is one of their first vendors.
“ I was at Rust Decor. This is an exciting opportunity. I loved Rust Decor and what they had, and the thought of coming into a new place and displaying my art was exciting,” Davis said.
Missy’ s Water Colors and More offers paintings and greeting cards.
