side-by-sides and traveling to ride together,” said Judd Bone, one of the members.“ In addition to the trail systems in Ohio, we have been to Kentucky, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Tennessee and Utah.”
This year they also decided to host a poker run and raise money for a toy drive.
“ We want to help less fortunate families of Coshocton County with Christmas,” Bone said.“ For the last two years, a small group of our members has self-funded the toy drive. During the first two years, we were able to help approximately 60 families put a few extra presents under the tree for their children. This was our first big event where we had an opportunity to get the public involved with local business sponsors, donations, et cetera. We thought by doing this, we could raise more money to help more families.”
The June 21 event turned out bigger than they imagined it would.“ We had over 200 people come through our registration table and approximately 79 business and private donors that sponsored our event or contributed toward door prizes,” Bone said.“ The Royce Anthony Band donated an hour of their time to entertain our

BF-314874 with sponsors from seven different Ohio counties including one from Puerto Rico,” Bone said.“ All of this helped us raise just under $ 11,000.”
All proceeds from the poker run will benefit children during Christmas.
“ We have partnered with local organizations that provide us with a list of families that will benefit from the gifts,” Bone said.“ We purchase, wrap and deliver every single toy to the homes of these children before Christmas using our side-by-sides. A few of our members will dress up as Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and the Grinch for the delivery.”
In addition to this poker run and special rides, the group participates in local parades.
“ Someone told me there are places and things you will never get to see unless you get off the main roads and go look for them,” Bone said.“ There is a lot of truth to that. The beauty and landscape that we get to experience while in the woods is something a lot of people will never experience.”
