Cleveland-Cliffs hosts ribbon cutting for its new line

Cleveland-Cliffs hosted a ribbon cutting on July 2 for its new $ 150 million stainless steel bright annealing line at Coshocton Works in Ohio.
Speakers included Lourenco Goncalves, chairman, president and CEO at Cleveland-Cliffs Inc.; Sen. Bernie Moreno; Sen. Jon Husted; Congressman Troy Balderson; Secretary
of State Frank LaRose; and United Auto Workers Local 3462 President Kurt Knicely.
The new annealing line uses a 100 % hydrogen atmosphere, replacing the conventional acid-based processing. This investment further enhanced Cleveland-Cliffs’ supply of premium stainless steel for high-end automotive and
critical appliance applications.
