The Elks hoop shoot is announced
The Coshocton Elks Lodge # 376 will hold its local hoop shoot on Sunday , Jan . 12 . Doors will open at 1 p . m ., and the shoot will start at 1:30 p . m . in the
Coshocton High School gymnasium . Sign-ups will begin at the time of arrival and will be completed before the hoop shoot begins . All boys and girls age
8-13 from Coshocton and River View school districts are eligible to participate .

Letter to the Editor
Gary Kilpatrick will step down from his role as a member of the Veterans Commission Board representing the American Legion . He served the last 10 years . He is physically unable to continue but wanted to express his thanks and appreciation .
I have sincerely and truly enjoyed my time on the commission board . I greatly believe in their mission and all the good it provides for the veterans of Coshocton County .
I am proud of the work we were able to accomplish together , and I
am deeply grateful for the relationships I ’ ve made on the board , for we are like family .
I would like to wish the VSO ’ s and commission board continued success for their excellent work they do for our veterans in our community , which I believe is the best in the state .
