United Way adds new members to board of directors

The United Way of Coshocton announced the addition of five new members to the board of directors to begin January 2025 .

Amanda Klein was born and raised in Coshocton County . She is a 2002 graduate of River View High School . She has been married to her high school sweetheart Dustin Klein for 22 ½ years . Together they have four children .

She has been the office manager at Hathaway Inc . since September 2019 under Chuck Hathaway until her husband purchased the company in January 2024 . She is a 2024 graduate of Leadership Coshocton County , and this is her first time serving on any type of board .

Outside of work and helping her husband own and operate the business , she loves spending time with her kids and husband .

They love to go camping at Seneca Lake and traveling to see new things in the country . She is excited to get more involved and to continue to learn and grow .

Kimberlin Alton was born and raised in Coshocton . She works for RHDD as its alternatives program manager in Coshocton County . In her spare time , she enjoys spending time with family , friends and her son Briar . She also

enjoys reading , walking and watching football . As a new member of the United Way ’ s board , she is excited to make a difference in the lives of those who live in Coshocton County .

Josie Sellers is the editor of The Beacon and the mother of daughters Sophia Sellers , 11 , and Sawyer Sellers , 9 , who both attend River View Intermediate School .

In addition to delivering positive news to Beacon readers , she serves on the Coshocton Behavioral Health Choices and Leadership Coshocton County board . She also occasionally teaches Sunday school and helps with VBS at the Coshocton Christian Tabernacle . She looks forward to working with the many United Way agencies that have touched her and her family ’ s life .

Timberly White has worked for People ’ s Bank as a bank teller for a year

and a half . Her hobbies include reading , writing , exercising and cooking . She is particularly interested in exploring more hands-on activities and enjoys being outdoors . White volunteers at her church ’ s food drive and published her own book detailing her journey with sickle cell disease .

Shane Stanton has been employed at Cleveland Cliffs for 13 years and is currently a manager . He served in the U . S .

Navy and is married with four children . Stanton has coached football at Coshocton High School and helped with cleanup projects at Lake Park . He looks forward to giving back to the community in new ways .

United Way of Coshocton has been serving Coshocton for 85 years and is locally governed . Board members typically serve two consecutive three-year terms .
