Going Forward

Wise use of our soil and water resources will ensure that future generations enjoy the same quality of life that those before us left behind . Our program has evolved over the past 79 years but the responsibility to be good stewards of the land is just as important today as it ever was .
We appreciate the support of Coshocton County Commissioners Dane Shryock , Gary Fischer , and Rick Conkle along with the support of Senator Jay Hottinger and Representative Kevin Miller . State matching funds have increased in recent years due to their efforts . This funding allows us to implement programs that support the wise use of our soil and water resources by assisting landowners in our community . This is the fundamental goal of our organization . We thank you for your interest and support of our program and ask that you continue to work with us to conserve our natural resources .
Amy Porteus and Beth Mullen allowed children to climb in their combine at First FARM Friday in August . This event encourages families to learn more about agriculture by getting children up close to farm machinery and animals .
