On Jan . 31 Coshocton ’ s boys topped New Lex 56-53 . Colton Conkle led with 33 points .
Colton Conkle led the ‘ Skins again in scoring on Feb . 1 with 26 points against New Lex . This time the Redskins played the Panthers at home and won 60-52 . Alex Taylor chipped in with 20 points .
The Redskins had a record setting day on Feb . 7 with their 86-43 victory over Crooksville . Colton Conkle broke the county scoring record , Alex Taylor was honored for his 1000th career point and Blayden Workman tied Colton Conkle and Logan Lonsberry in three point shooting .
RIDGEWOOD
The Ridgewood boys finished fifth in the IVC bowling tournament and sixth overall in the conference .
The Ridgewood girls finished fifth . Scores for the girls were Kaydence Lahna , 142 , 138 and 131 for a 411 series ; Harlea Beckett , 165 , 146 and 93 for a 404 series ; Kaylee Kunze , 138 , 134 and 115 for a 387 series ; Josie Stanton , 156 and 124 for a 280 series ; Avery Ehasx , 113 and 128 for a 241 series ; and Rilyn Medley , 90 and 97 for a 187 series .
RIVER VIEW
River View swimmers competed in the 2025 South Eastern Ohio Swim League Championship meet at Ohio University on Feb . 1 . Out of 10 schools , the girls placed third overall behind first-place Athens , and the boys placed fourth behind winner Tri-Valley .
Medalists for the Black Bears in the girls events were the relay of Ally Fischer , Lily Grewell , Riley Gottardi and Britany Hammond , who were third in both the
River View seniors Kaila Reigle and Maeve Gentile were recently celebrated .

Submitted Ridgewood High School graduate Bryce Prater was inducted into the school ’ s Wall of Fame on Jan . 31 . Prater was part of the Ohio State University football team that recently won the national championship .
200 medley with a yard time of 2:10.15 and in the 400 freestyle with a time of 4:12.79 . Individually , Gottardi was third in both the 100 butterfly ( 1:09.34 ) and the 100 backstroke ( 1:08.20 ), and Grewell was third in the 100 breaststroke ( 1:20.50 ).
Additional scoring in events for the girls came from the 200 free relay group of Grewell , Kynsingten McMasters , Atyana Milici and Hammond , who were fifth with a time of 1:59.91 ; Fischer , fourth in the 200 individual medley ( 2:35.86 ) and sixth in the 100 back ( 1:11.75 ); McMasters , fourth in the 100 breast ( 1:21.02 ) and sixth in the 200 IM ( 2:45.68 ); Hammond , seventh in the 100 free ( 1:05.08 ); and Ava Lewis , eighth ( 7:05.05 ), and Natylee Milici , 10th ( 7:23.91 ), in the 500 free .
Jamison Adams was a medalist in the boys 100 backstroke with a third-place time of 59.32 . Additionally earning points in boys events were the relay group of Adams , Dustin Gregory , Jerrett Allison and Kyle Roach , who were fourth in the 400 free ( 4:03.16 ) and fifth in the 200 medley ( 2:00.56 ); Adams , seventh in the 50 free ( 25.04 ); Gregory , sixth ( 1:07.74 ) in the 100 fly and seventh ( 1:20.35 ) in the 100 breast ; Roach , sixth ( 58.75 ) in the 100 free ; and Jerrett Allison , seventh ( 6:08.14 ) in the 500 free .
On Feb . 4 the River View girls bowling team hosted the Dover Lady Tornadoes at Legacy Lanes for Senior Night . The Lady Bears rolled to victory 1,637-1,518 to improve to 9-1 on the season . Before the match seniors Maeve Gentile and Kaila Reigle were honored and presented with their senior gifts from the bowling boosters .
Leading the way for the Lady Bears were sophomore Karley Stocker with a 306 two-game set , freshman Mya Dobson with a 270 two-game set and senior Maeve Gentile with a 268 two-game set . On Feb . 4 the Black Bears rolled against the Dover Tornadoes . The Bears received their second loss of the season 1,983-2,137 .
Leading the way was sophomore Kolton Duff with a two-game set of 341 . Also chipping in was junior Carter Hammersley with a two-game set of 340 .
On Feb . 6 the Black Bears traveled to take on West Holmes . The Bears were defeated 2,178-1,901 . Leading the way were junior Carter Hammersley with games of 197 and 257 for a 454 two-game series and sophomore Kolton Duff with games of 222 and 191 for a 413 two-game series .
