The snow on Dec . 16 turned Main Street into a winter wonderland and left many people dreaming of a white Christmas full of health and happiness for family and friends .
“ My dreams for this Christmas would be ultimately for my family and my friends to be safe and
healthy ,” Lisa McCoy said . “ I dream for my kids to know the true meaning of Christmas and share it with everyone they know . God is good , all the time . I dream to see their little faces light up when they see the presents under the tree and for them to enjoy life ‘ s little moments as much as they can . I dream for my twins to truly appreciate everything they have and understand the importance of giving , especially this time of year .”
Rosemary Richcreek also wishes for happiness and health for her family and friends and that they remember the true meaning of Christmas .
“ I ’ m dreaming of just all my family together and having a nice meal ,” Brenda Hogue said . “ I hate the presents ‘ expectation ’ and just want us all together .”
Jill Bolitho is dreaming of the days when she can travel again . “ My dream is that COVID-19

disappears , and the borders open so traveling can resume , and of course spending special time with family and friends making memories of the holiday season .”
Jennifer Boyer dreams of a simpler time . “ Where gifts come from the heart ,” she said , “ that people don ’ t have to make Christmas all about being so commercialized but the true meaning of Christmas .”
However , it is nice to see faces light up on Christmas morning .
“ I love it when , even as adults , my kids and husband are surprised when they open their Christmas gifts ,” Mindy Fehrman said . “ I thoroughly enjoy watching their faces . It is as much a treat for me as it was when they were younger .”
Vickie Davis ’ dream is that people realize how great of a place Coshocton is to live .
“ My dreams for this Christmas are to see and hear Coshocton residents enjoy their season and be thankful for where we live and how we live ,” she said . “ Some have much , and some have little , but to truly experience Christmas joy is the dream . Our world seems so bleak in some ways , but in all the chaos it is a joy to reflect on Christmas past and revel in the present . So thankful for our small area of the world where kindness can and is everywhere .”
Davis truly enjoys all the projects and displays residents have been involved with this Christmas season .
“ The gift giving all around like

the Christmas Castle project , the wonderful displays of Christmas lights across the county , it seems like Coshocton really outdid theirselves with the live nativity , the Christmas lights at the fairgrounds and the individual displays ,” she said . “ I love all the residents ’ displays on Hay Avenue , County Road 24 and many others around the area . That ’ s spreading true Christmas joy .
This Christmas I dream this spirit of joy continues .”
