B . Radiant Wellness held a ribbon cutting on Dec . 1 to celebrate the opening of its new spa at 1037 Walnut St .

The space offers medical weight loss , facial aesthetics including hydro jelly facials , Botox and dermal fillers , POD threading , IV hydration and injectables , teeth whitening , eyelash extensions and more .

“ We want people to come in , relax and feel pampered . We offer a lot of different services , and we hope to bring some new and exciting services in 2023 — for example , permanent makeup ,” owner Tara Jaras said .

Jaras is a nurse practitioner , and all staff members are registered nurses . “ We can all give you the same services . We offer facials , just sit in the massage chair and get pampered with a hydro jelly facial , aesthetics dermal fillers or POD threading .”

Jaras also is certified and specializes in medical weight loss offering different weight-loss plans depending on what the client is looking for . She also offers an IV hydration injectable that includes all vitamins to help boost immunity , give energy and treats people when they ’ re feeling down .

“ Clients that have had the flu but haven ’ t regained their energy can feel better within 12-24 hours . One of the more popular services is a B12 injection . You can come in , even on your lunch break . It ’ s super quick , a simple shot , all vitamins . We also do body contouring for toning the body , and we ’ re able to take it on the road and do parties ,” she said .

Tammie Hanna , Hayley Miller , Jackie Alexander and Lacey McCombs .

“ We all worked together at the hospital , and Tara reached out to us . Ever since she brought the wellness center idea up , we ’ ve just been making it happen ,” Alexander said . “ Tara is very motivated . She makes you feel like you have no flaws ; you are just being enhanced . Anyone can walk into this facility and say , ‘ I don ’ t like this about me . What can you do to help ?’ We ’ re not biased . There is no judgment here . Everyone who walks through the door leaves as a friend . Men and women are both welcome . Tara is men ’ s health certified as well .’’

Jaras is a graduate of Newcomerstown High School . She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ohio

University and Master of Nursing from Chamberlain University . She was certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and received facial esthetic training through the American Academy of Facial Esthetics .
