A free event is planned for Thursday , Aug . 24 at Clary Gardens . The End of Summer Soiree will be held from noon to 6 p . m .
Rust Décor will be at the event from 1-4 p . m . with ceramics that can be purchased and painted right there .
“ Clary Garden ’ s event planner Jessica reached out to us about being a part of their free event , and I loved the idea of getting exposure of our Pop in and Paint ceramics from a different organization ,” Rylee Lecraft from Rust Décor said . “ This time of year is great for their monarch butterflies and flowers , so we are bringing lots of ceramics in honor of what Clary Gardens is known for — their gardens .”
Ceramics will range in price from $ 10- $ 25 , and all supplies will be available to paint your project at the event .
The theme of Clary Gardens this year is “ Altogether Now : 100 Years of Disney .” All their floral displays are featuring a large variety of bright Disney colors and will remind visitors of Disney masterpieces like Mickey Mouse . Visitors are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes and explore all the trails the gardens have to offer .
There will be live music , and food can be purchased from Real McCoy BBQ .
Aug . 10 program to feature accordion music , history

The World Needs Some Happy Music will be presented at the Dover Public Library .
Dover native Joe Warther will perform from his accordion in a program titled The World Needs Some Happy Music on Thursday , Aug . 10 at 6:30 p . m .
He will talk about the history of the accordion and his musical journey from Dover to Myrtle Beach , where he provides live entertainment at several restaurants .
Warther also has invited a guest to join him for the evening . Dave Pensy of Magnolia has been Warther ’ s teacher for many years . Pensy is not only a master of the accordion , but he also composes music . Together Pensy and Warther will perform several of Pensy ’ s original compositions .
This program will be held in the community room at the Dover Public
