Soccer players do the kick for a cure

The third annual Kick for a Cure took place July 23 at Stewart Field in Coshocton . Local high school graduates gathered to play soccer , have fun and raise money for the American Cancer Society . This year $ 670 was raised from donations that evening .

Hickory Flats Tuesday Golf League had 12 ladies play twowoman alternate shot on July 25 , and River Greens Thursday Morning League played July 27 .

Hickory Flats Tuesday Golf League had 12 ladies play two-woman alternate shot on July 25 .
The winning team was Sherry Kirkpatrick and Darcie Kierns with a 45 .
The play of the day was three clubs and a putter for the River Greens Thursday Morning League on
July 27 .
The A-flight winner was Mardella Rice , and the B-flight winner was Linda Miller . Low scores were Rice with 41 , Connie Lahna and Missy Vanderkam with 44 , Rhonda Barlan with 45 , Deb Bucklew with 47 , and Miller with 49 .
