Downtown shopping events will be held this fall

The Downtown Retailers Association and Our Town Coshocton have several shopping events planned throughout the fall .
On Saturday , Aug . 26 , downtown businesses will hold fall open houses at their stores . Each participating business will have fall items for sale , and there will be a scavenger hunt and door prizes .
Saturday , Sept . 16 will be a sip and shop . Each business will have a special drink for customers . It will be the choice of the store whether the drink will be alcoholic or nonalcoholic .
Oktober Fest will be held Friday and Saturday , Oct . 20-21 .
Christmas open houses will be held Saturday , Nov . 4 . Each participating store will have Christmas cookies available . Punch cards will be available , and those who get their card filled out will have
a chance to win the grand prize .
Saturday , Dec . 2 will be the Jingle Bell Shop Hop .

Fresno Farmers Market is making plans to return in a new location

The Fresno Farmers Market is making a comeback as West Lafayette Farmers Market .
The new market will feature the vendors people know from Fresno Farmers Market , and it will be located in Burt Park in West Lafayette , running May 25 through Sept . 21 of 2024 . The market will be open Saturdays from 8:30-11:30 a . m . and offer produce , crystals , jewelry , books , baked goods , crafts , flowers , plants and more .
The new locale , right across from the Ridgewood football field , will feature trees for shade , public restrooms and paved sidewalks for the convenience and ease of access for visitors with mobility issues . There will be street parking with additional parking available at the school , a short walk across Johnson Street . The market has reserved the picnic shelter , so rain or shine , vendors will be available .
