Deadline is approaching for the Aug . 19 Warsaw Alumni Banquet
The 2023 Warsaw Alumni Banquet invitations have been sent to all honor classes and graduates who have attended the banquet or paid alumni dues within the past five years .
The honor classes this year are 1943 , 1948 , 1953 , 1958 , 1963 and River View 1968 .

S . 36 at 23891 Airport Road , on Saturday , Aug . 19 . Doors will open at 4 p . m . with the banquet beginning at 5:30 p . m .
The registration fee is $ 20 and includes payment for the banquet and alumni dues . The registration deadline is Saturday , Aug . 5 .
Due to the large number of honor classes , registrations will be limited to the first 150 registrants . Organizers are anticipating a large group .

SUNDAY , JULY 29 , 1973 Korean born doctor ; Dr . Jin Dae Kim will open his gynecology office on Aug . 1 . After graduating from Kyungpook National University and completing a residency at Presbyterian Hospital in Taegu he would take another residency at the Malmonides Medical Center in Brooklyn , New York , and later a fellowship at Queens Hospital Medical Center in Jamaica , New York as well as instructing at the Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn . He , his wife and their two children are currently living on Marion Drive , and his office will be located above Dr . Floyd W . Craig ’ s on Main Street .
SUNDAY , JULY 31 , 1983 After more than 100 years a Coshocton institution is closing . The Coshocton Farmer ’ s Exchange , founded in 1880 , on 126 Hickory Street shuttered its doors for the last time . Citing economic issues and a decline in the number of local farmers , the board of directors decided to close shop .
SATURDAY , JULY 31 , 1993 A series of unusually strong thunderstorms hit Coshocton , and the rest of the state , over the past few days . Beginning on Wednesday the storms damages are being compared to the Great Blizzard of 1978 , as nearly 10,000 county residents are without power today . The 64 mile per hour winds forced a tornado warning over the county , although none were reported to have formed . Of the many instances of damage to property and buildings , of note is the damage done Harmon ’ s Barber Shop in Warsaw . Located at 130 East Main St . the shop was hit by a downed tree which then caught fire from exposure to downed power lines . The fire was contained to the basement of the shop , with the main floor receiving primarily smoke damage . “ There ’ s not that much . It ’ s just one of those things . You can ’ t do anything about it ,” said John Harmon .
SUNDAY , JULY 27 , 2003 With the opening of motorcycle racing season , it ’ s up to one Coshoctonian to hold his title . Assistant fire chief Mark Underwood secured the title of Prostar National Champion in the Hot Rod Cruiser class last year and hopes to keep it this year . “ I have always been a very competitive person . It doesn ’ t matter whether I am pushing a grocery cart or racing at the track , I like to be competitive ,” said Underwood , who has been racing for 16 years .
WEDNESDAY , JULY 31 , 2013 The West Lafayette Homecoming crowned its court . Morgan Bradford was crowned queen , with Kayla Sharier and Casey Varian as her attendants . Senior queen went to Lou Ann Justice , junior queen to Brianna Brady , mini queen to Haylee Morgan Adkins and little miss went to Madelyn Klier .
