Due to the rising need for intensive therapeutic services , The Village Network is expanding its Intensive Home-Based Therapy program to the following Ohio counties : Wayne , Holmes , Tuscarawas , Caroll , Coshocton , Guernsey and Noble .

The State of Ohio has awarded The Village Network grant funding to build IHBT teams in Coshocton , Guernsey and Noble counties due to their high need .

IHBT is a mental health service aimed at supporting youth with severe emotional disturbances who are at risk of being placed outside their homes or are transitioning back home after such placements . The purpose

of IHBT is to offer mental health services and support to help these youths live in their homes in the least restrictive and most normal environment possible . IHBT services

are delivered in the home , school and community settings . These services address the mental health challenges that put the youth at risk while promoting positive development and healthy family functioning .

Network . “ Traditional mental health treatment is deficit-based . With IHBT we are strengthbased and focus on all the good things children and families can do . We assist families in ensuring basic needs are met as well as increasing their social

supports to help children and families become empowered in their lives . We work with children and their families to break the cycle of generational trauma .”

The Village Network is actively seeking licensed social workers and licensed professional counselors to join the IHBT teams in the above-mentioned counties .
