Albert L . Young , 90 , of Warsaw , passed following a short illness on Wednesday , Aug . 18 , 2021 surrounded by his family at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House in Zanesville . Born Sept . 22 , 1930 to the late Clyde F . and Maizie M . ( Cullison ) Young of Warsaw , he is survived by his loving wife of nearly 69 years , Martha Ann ( Lowery ) whom he married on Oct . 18 , 1952 . They lived on the family farm on New Castle Township Road 359 until October 2017 .
Besides being a lifelong farmer , Albert drove school bus for the Warsaw and River View School Districts for 30 years . He was also a New Castle Township Trustee for 24 years . He was a lifelong member of Dutch Run Trinity Church of Christ , where he served on the church board for 40 years . His community was important to Albert and that was reflected

by his 75-year membership in the Walhonding Valley Grange , involvement with the Warsaw Lions Club for 54 years , Coshocton County Farm Bureau , and 30 years as a director on the Coshocton County Fair Board . For many years , Albert was a member of the River View Corn Club and also won many awards in the corn husking contests at the Roscoe Village Apple Butter Stirrin ’ Festival . He was also one of the founding members of the River View Community
Park Board .
In addition to his wife Martha Young , Albert is survived by his four children and their families , Dee Ann and George Kuhlman of Norwalk , Jo Ellen and Jeffrey Iden of Gratiot , Wayne Young of Warsaw , and Joy and Kent Bauman of Otway ; his nine grandchildren and spouses include Lee Ann and Travis Kilgore of Bellefontaine , Lisa and Chris Ott of Milan , Jennifer Kuhlman and Scott Boswell of Norwalk , Janel and Mitch Blankespoor of Wilmington , Jay and Tomra Iden of Hebron , Jacie and Mark Simon of Batavia , Emily and Daniel Niemann of Dublin , Molly Bauman of Columbus , and Whitney Bauman of Otway , as well as eight great-grandchildren , and his sister Ruth Parker of Coshocton , brotherin-law Marvin Rodgers of Florida , and sister-inlaw Donna Rae Young of Warsaw . He also leaves behind many other dear family members , friends , and his church family .
In addition to his parents , Albert was preceded in death by his brother Dale Young , sister Lillian Rodgers , brother Robert Young and sister-inlaw Dorothy Mae Young , brother Clyde Junior Young , brother-in-law Dale Parker , and parentsin-law Clay and Nell ( Swigert ) Lowery .
A funeral service and celebration of life was held at 11 a . m . Monday , Aug . 23 , 2021 , at Dutch Run Trinity Church of Christ , and burial followed in Valley View Cemetery .
In lieu of flowers , memorial contributions may be made to Dutch Run Trinity Church of Christ c / o Joyce Frazee , Treasurer , 7660 Goodall Rd ., Mt . Vernon , OH 43050 or to one of the numerous community organizations where Albert was a member .

Ruth C . Woodring

Ruth C . Woodring went to be with her Lord and Savior on Aug . 17 , 2021 , after an extended battle with cancer .
She was born in Coshocton County , on Dec . 17 , 1936 , to Burt and Lucille Lafferty .
Ruth is survived by her husband of 64 years , Garnie Woodring . Ruth became a long time resident of Bakersville , and spent many years working for Stone Container Corporation . Ruth enjoyed spending time with her family . She also enjoyed shopping , bowling , and camping .
She is survived by her three children , Garnie Woodring Jr ., Shirley ( Rick ) Glazer , David ( Beverly ) Woodring . Ruth is also survived by her eight grandchildren , Joshua Woodring ( Dawn ), Krista ( Ryan ) Thomas , Ginelle Hayhurst ( Rodney ), Nicole ( Ben ) Hostetler , Heather ( Nathan ) McNeil , Ashley ( Clint ) Stutzman , Katie Woodring ( Colten ), Cody Woodring ( Kelsie ). was also blessed with 16 great-grandchildren . Ruth is also survived by several nieces and nephews .
Ruth is preceded in death by her eight siblings .
To honor Ruth ’ s wishes , her family will be holding a private family grave side service at Fairview Cemetery in Fresno . Officiating the service will be Pastor Mark Britton from the Dover Bible Church .
