Sharon Elizabeth Schlosser , 78 , of West Lafayette , passed away on Sunday , Aug . 15 , 2021 . She was born on Jan . 18 , 1943 , in Coshocton to the late William and Eileen ( Henderson ) Manning .
After graduating from Coshocton High School , she married Kenneth Schlosser on Jan . 29 , 1966 . Sharon stayed at home raising her five daughters and then began working at Genie Overhead Door in Baltic before retiring in 2008 .
Sharon loved sitting on her back porch . She enjoyed watching Days of Our Lives over the years ; caring for her plants , putting puzzles together , fishing and traveling with her husband while he drove his semi . She

Earl Morris loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren . Sharon was loved by many and will be sadly missed .

She is survived by her five daughters , Trudy Shrock of West Lafayette , Sandra ( Tom ) Green of West Lafayette , Patricia “ Trish ” Conkle of Coshocton , Tracy ( Fiancé Gary Wilson ) Evans of North Benton and Karen ( John ) Barker of Coshocton ; two stepsons , Roger ( Deidra ) Rhode of Greenfield and Keith ( Joann ) Rhode of Clyde ; 13 grandchildren , Jessica ( Evan ) Guthrie , Gavin Shrock , Darren ( Bethany ) Green , Kayla ( Lucas ) Jacobs , Tyler ( Lindsey ) Conkle , Megan ( Darin ) Hains , Heather Evans , Sarah ( Dean ) Morrison , Travis ( Kalie ) Evans , Kyle Evans , Abbie ( Cheavis ) Webb , Jonathan Barker and Peyton Barker ; 23 great-grandchildren with two on the way ; sister , Patricia ( Ed ) Jerles of Newark ; four sisters-inlaw , Dorothy Manning , Vicki Manning , Beverly McElfresh and Ann Schlosser ; and many nieces and nephews .
Along with her parents , Sharon is preceded in death by her husband , Kenneth who passed away on Dec . 15 , 1997 , stepson , Robert Rhode ; three brothers , Tommy Manning , George Manning and Johnny Manning ; sister , Joyce Appis and stepdad , Esley ( Fuzz ) Denny .
Calling hours were held on Sunday , Aug . 22 , 2021 , at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home from 4-7 p . m . and one hour prior to the funeral . A funeral service was held on Monday , Aug . 23 , 2021 , at 11 a . m . at the funeral home . Burial followed at Coshocton County Memory Gardens .

Earl Morris , 91 , of Coshocton passed away Sunday , Aug . 22 , 2021 , at his home . He was born on June 13 , 1930 in Newcomerstown , Ohio to the late Russell and Ruth ( Mincks ) Morris Robinson . On July 5 , 1965 he married Margaret ( Welling ) Morris .
Earl was a 1950 graduate of Coshocton High School and for many years he worked for Nelson , Davey , and Kuemmerling Tree Services . He also worked many years at Simco Peabody Coal as a heavy equipment operator before retiring . He was a member of the UMWA Local # 1188 .
Earl was an avid horseman , he loved riding , showing his saddle bred horses . He loved being outdoors , football , basketball , western movies , country music , and being around his family and friends . He was a loving husband , father , and grandfather .
Along with his wife , Margaret , he is survived by his son Scott ( Shelby ) Morris of Coshocton ; one very special grandson , Landon Morris of Coshocton ; two half brothers and one halfsister ; and several nieces and nephews .
He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Mary Louise West and Irene Fisher .
Per Earl ’ s wishes a cremation will take place and there will be no funeral services . In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be directed toward Coshocton Interim Hospice and / or The Coshocton County Animal Shelter . The Miller Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family . Rene E . McDorman

Rene E . McDorman , 57 , of Fresno , passed away suddenly on Tuesday , Aug . 17 , 2021 . She was born on March 8 , 1964 in Coshocton to the late Carl E . and LaVone ( Thomas ) Robinson .
After graduating from Ridgewood High School in 1982 , where she played volleyball , basketball , softball , ran track and played in the marching band , she then attended and graduated from Kent State University in 1984 . On July 16 , 1988 , she married Douglas McDorman .
Rene was a life member of Bakersville Presbyterian / Bakersville Community Church where she served as a Deacon for many years . She belonged to the church choir and was very active in the Faithful Followers and was the church custodian for over 35 years . She was an avid Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns fan and was a sports enthusiast . She loved coaching her daughters in sports and attend her nieces and nephews sporting events and was always willing to help out where ever she was needed . Rene a heart of gold ; she was a strong , compassionate and never complained . She will be sadly missed by many .
She is survived by her mother , LaVone Robinson of West Lafayette , husband Doug McDorman of Fresno ; two daughters , Melinda ( Adam ) Housholder and Morgan McDorman both of West Lafayette ; granddaughter , Scarlett Housholder ; sister , Shelley ( Kent ) Howell ; nephew , Kristopher ( Lindsay ) Howell and their daughters , Paisyn , Hadley and Spencer Howell all of West Lafayette ; brother , Scott ( Lori ) Robinson , niece Kaelynn and nephew Kole Robinson all of

West Lafayette ; uncle , Edgar Lower of Bakersville and several cousins survive to reminisce her smile and laughter ; mother-in-law , Carolyn McDorman ( Don ) Silverthorne of Newcomerstown ; sister-in-law , Lisa ( Michael ) Simon along with niece Caitlyn ( Bryan ) Wilson of Florida , nephew Thomas Simon of West Virginia and sister-in-law , Maureen ( John Grimes ) McDorman of Kentucky .
Along with her father Carl , Rene is preceded in death by her aunts and uncle , Bernice and Paul Harstine who lived in West Lafayette and Nellie Lower who lived in Bakersville and just passed away on July 31 , 2021 ; and father-in-law , William R . McDorman .
Calling hours will be held on Friday , Aug . 27 , 2021 , at Given-Dawson- Paisley Funeral Home from 4-7 p . m . and one hour prior to the funeral . Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday , Aug . 28 , 2021 , at 11 a . m . with Pastor Rod McBride officiating . Burial will follow at Fairfield Cemetery .
