Jenny Penny ’ s opens in Downtown Coshocton
By Tara Gracyk
For years Lucas McCoy and Jennifer Honeycutt have dreamt of owning and running a café , and they have finally made their dream come true . On Aug . 16 they officially opened Jenny Penny ’ s , a café-style restaurant located at 423 Main St . in Coshocton .
“ We wanted to create a nice place for college students and business people to have a cool place to study , work and eat in ,” Honeycutt said .
This engaged couple , who also owns and operates Old Rustic Finds , said they bought the building with the intent of opening a café but originally rented the building out for vendor shows and similar events . They decided last year to take the leap of faith and get to work on making the building into a café . They have been working for a year on creating the menu and an atmosphere customers will enjoy .
They chose the name ,

to cook , and she likes to talk to anyone and everyone , so this will be perfect for us ,” McCoy said .
Jenny Penny ’ s will serve coffee , soup , salads and sandwiches . It also will specialize in paninis and crepes , although the crepes will come later . The hours of operation will be Monday through Thursday from 6 a . m . to 2 p . m .
