Sesser honored to be first Bakersville Queen in almost 50 years
I am the 2023-24 Bakersville Homecoming queen , the first in almost 50 years . I ’ m filled with gratitude and wonderful memories . This year has been truly remarkable , filled with experiences I ’ ll cherish forever .
From the luncheons to the parades , every moment has been special . I ’ ve had the joy of making new friends and creating bonds I hope will last a lifetime . The Apple Butter Stirrin ’ Festival , the Coshocton Night Christmas Parade and Roscoe Village Tree Lighting were some of my favorites . Getting to travel all over Ohio was so much fun . Everyone was very nice and sweet .
I want to express my heartfelt thanks to my court and their families . Your hard work and dedication made this year possible , and I ’ m so grateful for each one of you .
A special thank you goes to our Senior Queen Joy Hothem . Your tireless efforts , especially in making the soup dinner run smoothly , didn ’ t go unnoticed . You were always the first to arrive and the last to leave , setting an example for all of us .
I ’ d also like to thank the Bakersville Community Park for allowing us to have the royalty program . Your support means so much to us and to this community .
I want to extend a thank you to Pearl Valley Cheese for sponsoring the queen title and donating two cheese trays to our soup dinner . Your generosity has made this experience possible . Additionally , I ’ m grateful to Bise and Sons Masonry for their donation toward the queen title as well .
To my mom and dad , thank you for your unwavering support and for always making sure I got where I needed to be . Your love and encouragement have been my foundation
throughout this journey .
And to Danielle and Gene Howell , my second parents , I love you guys . Your support has been invaluable . Danielle spent time making sure my hair looked good , took me dress shopping and was always there when I needed it . Gene helped me practice my speech and made sure I knew I could do this .
My big sister Destiny Sesser , thank you for the
Miley Sesser late night talks , encouraging me to be the best queen I could be .
Finally , I want to express my deepest gratitude to Renee Stine , our queen director . This was her first year in this role , and I feel like we both learned a lot together . Renee , you truly made this whole experience special . Your guidance and support throughout the year have been instrumental in making this such a
