Coshocton Canal Quilters ’ show winners announced
Winners of the Coshocton Canal Quilters annual show were recently announced .
The theme this year was “ A Tisket , A Tasket .” Theme winners were Shirley Stutz , first place ; Mitzi Vance , second place ; and Debbie Ames , third place .
Class project sparkle punch multiple madness winners were Malinda Madden , first place ; Debra Shaw , second place ; and Sandy Honaker , third place .
The class project boro ,
collage , sashiko winners were Jennifer Baker , first place ; Linda Spalding , second place ; and Sandy Honaker , third place .
Wall hanging awards went to Mary Ann Anders , first place ; Sandy Trachsel , second place ; and Carol Shriver , third place .
Lap honors were Josie Disbennett , first place ; Gigi Hammond , second place ; and Carol Shriver , third place .
Twin and full prices went to Shirley Stutz , first place ; Elaine Limbacher ,

The deadline for unrestricted grant applications for the third and final meeting of the Coshocton Foundation Distribution Committee for fiscal year 2024 will be Friday , Aug . 16 .
In addition to schools , churches and government agencies , community organizations with a current 501 ( c ) ( 3 ) nonprofit designation may submit grant applications for consideration by the committee , which will meet in late August .

Grant application deadline shared

Seven copies of the grant request are required to be submitted . All applications must be received in the office by 4 p . m . on Friday , Aug . 16 in order to be given consideration by the committee .
The Coshocton Foundation was established in 1966 through the last will and testament of local merchant Adolph Golden and has distributed more than $ 9 million in grants to community organizations from its unrestricted fund . In addition , the foundation has more than 175 restricted funds from which distributions are made for specific purposes .
