Eligibility Criteria : Women who do not have breast symptoms , NOT pregnant or nursing , with no previous breast cancer . You must be at least 40 to have a screening mammogram . Women who are under 40 would need a written order from their doctor . Women will be screened for eligibility for the Breast and Cervical Cancer

Tree commission discusses updating local ordinance
At April ’ s meeting the Coshocton Tree Commission had two new tree concerns . There are two dead trees slated for priority-one removal and two dying pine trees on the priority-two removal list .
In observance of Arbor Day , the tree planting has been rescheduled at Coshocton Elementary for Friday , April 28 with the sixth-grade class .
Trees have arrived for the Chestnut Street planting and will be cared for until the September project date . The Coshocton Tree Commission received a grant from the Montgomery Foundation for this planting .
Mayor Mark Mills discussed updating the tree ordinance . The tree commission was formed in 2014 with the purpose of planting , pruning and removing all public trees . This includes trees in the city ’ s parks and cemeteries and those within easements along the streets . The ordinances can be found on the city ’ s website .
Chapter 925.15 says , “ Removal or mutilation of public trees : No person , without privilege to do so , shall remove , destroy ,

Come walk a mile in their shoes
Danika Bertschy Vickers , a sophomore at River View High School , is sponsoring an event called Walk a Mile in Their Shoes on Wednesday , May 3 at 6 p . m . at the Coshocton Court Square .
“ We hope to bring awareness to the issues of rape , sexual assault and gender violence ,” Vickers said . “ This is a walking
event where men walk in women ’ s heels and women walk in combat boots around the court square for a mile . There is a saying , ‘ You can ’ t understand someone until you walk in their shoes .’”
Raffle tickets will be available to purchase to win donated items from local businesses in the community . Tickets are $ 1 a ticket
or $ 5 for an arm ’ s length .
