Local trio helps lead Sting to victory

River View’ s Malania Miller, Emilia Lonsinger, and Scarlett Cohen played key roles in a pair of victories for the U10 MV Sting SC traveling soccer club on April 12.
In the first match, the Sting shut out Dublin United SC Marvels with a 2-0 win. Cohen opened the scoring, followed by a goal from Lonsinger to seal the victory.
In the second game, the Sting edged out Lancaster Select Soccer Association in a thrilling 3-2 contest. Lonsinger delivered a standout performance, netting all three goals for the team.
Both games featured strong offensive and defensive efforts from the entire Sting roster. MV Sting SC currently holds the top spot in the Ohio Champion’ s League North U10 Stars division.
