Phillip Dean Porter, age 81, of Coshocton, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2025. He was born August 29, 1943, to Herbert and Wilma( Breeden) Porter in Dresden, Ohio. Phillip served for 2 years in the United States Army and worked as a printer at JII for 40 years. He loved model trains and was a devoted member of the Coshocton Model Railroad Club, AMREC. He was also an avid sports fan, especially of the Browns, Reds, and Cleveland Guardians. In addition to trains and sports, Phillip
M. Grace“ Granny” Huprich, 90, of West Lafayette, passed away at The Ohio State University Medical Center on Tuesday April 8, 2025.
Grace was born in Coshocton on July 4, 1934, to the late Orlie and Helen( Darr) Stricker.
She and her late husband, Allen owned and operated Huprich

TV and Appliance in West Lafayette for many years. She also worked at Turner Hardware, as a cook at Riverside Manor in Newcomerstown. Grace had a passion for her West Lafayette community and was a member of the West Lafayette Chamber of Commerce. She treasured spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Grace is survived by her daughter Patty A.( Oren) Griffith of West Lafayette; son in law Robert“ Bob” Griffith of West Lafayette; grandchildren BJ( Billy) Griffith, Mandi( Kevin)

Phillip is survived by his son, Dennis Porter of Coshocton; his granddaughter, Carah( Chandler) Porter of Kansas; his brothers, Ronny Porter of Louisiana, Larry Porter of Florida, Mike( Anne) Porter of Columbus, and Jack( Juanita) Porter of Louisiana; and his life-long friend, Elaine Porter of Coshocton.

Friends were able to call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, on Monday April 14, 2025, from 1:00 pm- 2:00 pm where a memorial service for Grace began at 2:00 pm, Pastor Jim Lee officiated.
