Our Town Coshocton sponsored the first, and hopefully annual, Easter Egg Hunt on the court square on Saturday, April 12.

The weather was clear but still a bit chilly. Temperatures didn’ t seem to bother all of the excited children who were chomping at the bit to be the first to fill their basket with as many eggs as they could find.
“ We are really happy to be able to do this with the kids,” said Linnet Lowe from Linnet’ s Flowers on the Square.“ We put out 2,200 eggs on the court square lawn. This is the first time Our Town has done this. Years ago they used to have an egg hunt, but it’ s been a long time. We would like it to be annual but we will see how it turns out. We hope it will bring some people downtown and hopefully they will do the Bunny Hop too. With all of the spring flowers we have a beautiful court square today.”
The Bunny Shop Hop was on Main Street in Coshocton and Roscoe Village merchants participated as well. The Easter Bunny also was hopping up and down Main Street interacting with children.
“ To be in the shop hop they needed to get a passport, available at Coshocton Village Inn and Suites,” said Tom Barcroft, president of Our Town.“ They can
