Gary Lee Carnes

Gary Lee Carnes , 66 , passed away on Monday , March 22 , 2021 , following a brief illness . He was born on July 4 , 1954 , in Coshocton , to the late Ralph and Norma ( Weidger ) Carnes .
Gary worked for Stone Container for 33 years before retiring . On Aug . 14 , 1995 , he married Phyllis ( DeWitt ) Carnes who survives .
Along with his wife , Gary is survived by his son Josh ( Jill ) Carnes of West Lafayette and stepdaughter , Bobbie ( Aaron ) Davis of Dresden ; four grandchildren , Sydney Perrico ,

Janet Sue ( McCoy ) Mosier , 72 , passed away Monday , March 22 , 2021 at the Juanita Potts Family Home , where she was a resident .
She was born June 3 , 1948 in Coshocton to the late William and Mildred ( Clark ) McCoy . She was a 1966 graduate of River View High School , and went on to serve the public for 34 years , most recently as Coshocton County Clerk of Courts from January 2009 to December 2016 . She was also formerly a member of the Coshocton County Republican Central Committee .
Janet was the most devoted mother and grandmother . She was a member of Roscoe United Methodist Church and her faith

Lois Berry Allen Jacobs

Lois Berry Allen Jacobs , 83 , of Warsaw passed away peacefully on March 17 , 2021 , with her husband , Butch , by her side
She was born on Jan . 7 , 1938 in Coshocton County to the late Hilton and Fern Berry
She attended Warsaw School and was a member of the class of 1955 .
She is survived by her husband , Harold “ Butch ” Jacobs ; two sons , Jack Allen of Harper ’ s Ferry , West Virginia and Joey Allen of Coshocton ; brother , Jack ( Darlene ) Berry of Coshocton ; six grandchildren ; two great-grandchildren ; and cousins and lots of friends .
In addition to her parents , Lois was preceded in death by her daughter , Jill , and her first husband , Bobby Allen Jr .

Lois worked for several years at V . F . W . on Second Street in Coshocton .
A private graveside service and burial was held on Saturday , March 20 , in Valley View Cemetary . Fischer Funeral Home was honored to serve the family of Lois Allen Jacobs .

She was not fond of cooking and loved to eat out . Many refer to her as the kindest , sweetest and strongest person they have ever met .
She is survived by two daughters , Angie ( Brent ) Phillips and Christy ( Sean ) Nicely , both of Coshocton ; her grandchildren , Samantha ( Trent ) Grassbaugh , Tyler Nicely and Paige Nicely ; siblings , Keith ( Denise ) McCoy , Rodney McCoy , Dianne ( Chris ) Adams , and Kevin ( Amy ) McCoy ; and several nieces and nephews .
In addition to her parents , she was preceded in death by her long-time companion , C . Melvin “ Mel ” Cantrell ; and a brother , Terry McCoy .
Janet ’ s family extends special thanks to the Juanita Potts Home care team and to Interim Hospice .
Funeral services were held at 11 a . m . Thursday , March 25 , 2021 at the Roscoe United Methodist Church , with Rev . Dale Sutton officiating . Burial took place in Pleasant Hill Cemetery . Visitation was Wednesday , March 24 , at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw .

Miller Funeral Home & Crematory welcomed Kaitlyn Saylor to the business as a funeral director and embalmer .
Saylor was born and raised in Coshocton and graduated from Coshocton High School in 2010 . After graduating from Muskingum University in 2014 with a bachelor ’ s in biology , she attended Cincinnati College of Mortuary and graduated in 2015 with an associate degree .
Saylor is the youngest daughter of Keith and Pam Matz . She comes from a large family with four other siblings . In 2016 she married Joshua Saylor , the oldest son of Art and Melissa Saylor . Together , they have one son , Jackson Saylor . They chose to move back to Coshocton in 2015 as they had plans of starting a family and wanted to be near both their families that live locally . They also believe Coshocton is a great place to raise a growing family .
In their spare time , the Saylor family enjoys being outdoors and being active .
